Redesigned Luminara’s website, a flameless candle luxury brand.

Project Details

Luminara.com needed a new look. After an extensive digital identity audit, a new system was created.

Most of the page content was to remain, but all images and graphics needed an update. After multiple sketch workshops, wireframing, and high-fidelity prototyping, the site was ready for dev hand-off.

I worked closely with a talented frontend developer, Enrique Martinez, along with the company’s Creative digital marketing director, Becky Monraz. Together we ran weekly Scrum sprints to stay on schedule, increase transparency, and get the new site launched!

Step 1

Digital Identity Audit

Extensive audit of all digital touchpoints to find all areas of design inconsistencies.

Step 2

Sketch Workshops

Time-boxed sketch sessions helped surface all ideas in a low-barrier exercise.

Step 3

Initial Mock-ups

After determining content and general layout, high-fidelity mock-ups came next.

Step 4

Interactive Prototype

With the high-fidelity mockups done, an interactive prototype was built for testing the user experience and site flow.

Step 5

Design-to-Dev Handoff

Once the user experience was optimized, I worked closely with the developer by providing assets, specs, and troubleshooting technical restrictions.

Post-Launch

After a year of collecting data, Luminara’s website redesign was a total success! Below are stats pulled from Google Analytics comparing pre against post launch.
